NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released surveillance footage Friday of a man wanted for beating and robbing a victim in a Chelsea shop last month.
At approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, the suspect approached a 37-year-old man inside a store located at 165 8th Ave. and began repeatedly punching him, officials said. During the attack, the attacker took the victim's wallet from his pants pocket, which contained a credit card and about $50.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on 8th Avenue. EMS transported the victim to Lenox Hill Hospital where he was treated and listed in stable condition.
