NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for two men wanted in a violent robbery that occurred on a Queens street last month, authorities said Tuesday.

At approximately 3 a.m. on Thursday, September 14, a 41-year-old man was near Linden Boulevard and 224th Street in Cambria Heights when he was approached by two suspects.

The suspects forcibly took cash from his pockets, punched him and coerced the victim into multiple attempts at withdrawing money using his ATM card, police said.

The two suspects then fled in a dark-colored vehicle.

The victim sustained minor injuries and went to Long Island Jewish Medical Center by private means, officials said.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
