NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 34-year-old man was beaten and robbed by two suspects in the Bronx on Friday night after “bumping” into them, and police are searching for the duo.

At about 10:10 p.m., the victim was approached by the strangers in the vicinity of Third Avenue and East 166th Street, located in the Morrisania section of the Bronx.

They punched and kicked the victim about his body, and one of them threw a bottle, which cut his head. The suspects then snatched the victim's bag containing his cellphone and wallet, and ran off.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.

Police released surveillance images of the assailants on Sunday in the hope that someone recognizes them.

The first suspect is described as having a medium build and was last seen clad in all white and wearing black-and-white sneakers, while the second suspect has a slim build and was last seen wearing a black skull cap, a light-colored jacket and black pants.
