NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man was beaten with a baseball bat and robbed while walking home on a quiet Queens residential street, police said Friday.

The NYPD released images and video of the two male suspects they're searching for in last Saturday evening's attack in Fresh Meadows.

The 22-year-old victim was walking at 189th Street and Aberdeen Road just after 7 p.m. when the two thieves struck him in the head and face with the bat, police said.

They stole his cellphone and then fled in a black Pontiac Grand Am, according to police.

EMS transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
