
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Thursday released photos of a man accused of beating a man with a wrench during a bike robbery in Gramercy last week.
At approximately 3:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, a 51-year-old man was standing in front of 180 Third Ave. when the suspect approached him with a wrench, officials said.

The suspect then took the victim’s bike that was locked on the scaffolding pole. When the victim attempted to stop him, the suspect struck the victim with the wrench.
The suspect fled on the bike to unknown parts.
