NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A suspect has been arrested nearly three years after he allegedly shot a 27-year-old man inside a Harlem hotel on New Year's Eve, police said Thursday.
Clifton Thomas, 27, is charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the killing of Richard Hall inside the New Ebony Hotel on Dec. 31, 2019.
Hall was found shot multiple times just around 11:45 p.m. inside the hotel on the corner of West 112th Street and Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Boulevard, police said.
Witnesses told the Daily News at the time that Hall was arguing with another man just before he got shot.
Sources also told the outlet that the victim lived half a mile away but had rented a room at the hotel, possibly for a brief stay.
