NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man who allegedly threw a woman down the steps of a Brooklyn building before sexually assaulting and robbing her has been arrested, the NYPD said Monday.

Adrian Quarless, 37, of East Flatbush, was arrested and charged with robbery, sexually-motivated robbery, grand larceny and sexual abuse on Friday, police said Monday.

Police said a 38-year-old woman was walking up the steps to a building near North 10th and Roebling streets in Williamsburg around 1 a.m. on July 25 when Quarless threw her down the stairs.

After he threw the woman, Quarless sexually assaulted her and stole her purse, the NYPD said.

The East Flatbush resident used her credit cards to make a $46.21 purchase at a CVS in Bensonhurst hours later, police said.

Quarless' attorney information wasn't immediately available Monday.
