NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was critically wounded after he was shot in the head in the Bronx Friday afternoon, the NYPD said.
It happened just after 2:30 p.m. on 148th Street and Brook Avenue in Mott Haven, officials said.
The 31-year-old man was shot in the head and rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in critical condition, according to police.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting and information on the gunman is unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
