Man critically injured in stabbing near Brooklyn park

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man was critically injured early Monday in a stabbing near a park in Brooklyn, police said.

The victim was stabbed in the groin around 5:15 a.m. at 1491 Shore Pkwy. in Bath Beach, just steps from Bensonhurst Park.

He was rushed to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in critical condition, according to police.

The circumstances surrounding the stabbing weren't immediately clear. No arrests have been reported.
