
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man seen walking on the tracks of an Upper East Side subway station died after he made contact with the third rail Sunday evening, authorities said.
At about 5 p.m., police responded to multiple 911 calls of a man walking on the tracks inside the 68th St.-Hunter College subway station, officials said.
The man was then seen making contact with the third rail, cops said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Details about the victim were not immediately released.
