NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police responded to a 911 call in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, where they discovered a dead 39-year-old man and later charged a bleeding 22-year-old man for the murder, on Monday.
NYPD received a call around 8:30 a.m. describing a man bleeding from his wrist on 76th St. near Third Ave. in Bay Ridge. They then found Jaymir Brasby, 22, with cuts on his hands outside the building. He was taken to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn to be treated.
After further investigation, police found Sean Cregg, a 39-year-old man, dead in the hallway of the building, where he lived, with a stab wound to his back.
Brasby, from Nanty-Glo, Pa., was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
