NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who allegedly targeted a Union Square parking garage late Sunday night, threatening an attendant and stealing a luxury vehicle.
At around 10:22 p.m., a garage attendant at 65 West 15th St. was approached by the suspect who claimed to be armed with a weapon. He demanded keys to a parked Audi vehicle and, after obtaining them, fled the scene, authorities said.
The suspect was last seen driving the stolen vehicle northbound on the West Side Highway.
There were no injuries reported during the encounter.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
