NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An ex-Drug Enforcement Administration investigator who was found guilty of soliciting nude photos from an undercover agent he thought was a teenage girl died at a Brooklyn jail on Wednesday, according to a report.
Frederick Scheinin, 34, passed away at the Metropolitan Detention Center Wednesday morning, the Daily News reported, citing sources.
Scheinin’s cause of death wasn’t immediately released, according to the outlet.
A judge found Scheinin guilty of attempted production of child porn and attempted coercion of a minor to engage in sexual activity on Tuesday, the outlet reported.
He was reportedly being held in the jail’s solitary confinement area.
