NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Police are investigating after a 19-year-old man died hours after being shot at an East Harlem public housing complex early Wednesday.
At approximately 3:36 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 205 E 112 St.
Upon arrival, police observed Ramon Alvarez with a gunshot wound to the torso, conscious and alert.
EMS rushed Alvarez to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem where he was later pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
