
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released photos on Wednesday of two men accused of dragging a 58-year-old man from the driver's seat in a carjacking outside Central Park last month.
At approximately 2:48 p.m. on Friday, March 7, two suspects approached the victim while he was sitting in the driver seat of his parked vehicle in the vicinity of Fifth Avenue and East 80th Street.
The suspects proceeded to enter the vehicle, assault the victim and then forcefully remove him from the car, according to officials.
They fled the location in the vehicle, which was discovered unoccupied in the vicinity of East 114th Street and First Avenue, police said.
