NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Tuesday released a video that shows a man as he drags his pregnant girlfriend’s body out of a vehicle then dumps her on the side of a Queens expressway.
“On October 23rd in the confines of the 111th precinct, 29-year-old Vanessa Pierre and her unborn baby were found deceased laying facedown on the sidewalk off of Horace Harding Expressway,” NYPD Chief Rodney Harrison tweeted.
The incident, which occurred on October 23, shows 29-year-old Goey Charles pulling the body of Vanessa Pierre, also 29, out of a white car then leaves her on the payment next to a small bush on Horace Harding Expressway near Bell Boulevard in Bayside.
Charles is then seen getting back in the driver’s seat.
Medical personnel found bruising around the victim’s neck and according to officials, Pierre may have been strangled, the New York Post reports.
Police arrested Charles on Monday evening and he was charged with second-degree murder.
