
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating after a 24-year-old man was fatally shot outside of a Brooklyn business early Thursday, officials said.
The incident occurred at around 12:20 a.m. outside the Peddlers and Parchments Escape Room, also known as a “Jewish escape room,” located on Avenue M in Midwood, according to police.
The victim was shot in the chest outside and rushed to New York Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities said the shooting appeared to be gang-related but didn’t provide additional details.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
