NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was fatally shot in front of his Brooklyn home on Sunday morning, according to police.
Officers responded to a 911 call about a person shot near St. Johns Place and Troy Avenue at around 8 a.m.
When they arrived, they found that a 37-year-old man had been shot in the chest by an unidentified individual.
The victim, identified as Donnell Thomas, was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
