
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating a deadly stabbing early Monday morning in Queens, authorities said.
It happened at about 12:50 a.m. near the Junction Boulevard 7-train station in Jackson Heights.
According to officials, a 22-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen. He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was pronounced dead.
Police took one person into custody.
It is unclear what led up to the fatal stabbing. Sources told 1010 WINS it may have been over a bike.
An investigation remains ongoing.
