NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was fatally struck by an F train at a Queens subway station Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
The man fell onto the tracks at the Hillside Avenue-169th Street station in Jamaica around 4:20 p.m., officials said.
The train operator tried to hit the breaks, but was unable to stop in time to save the man’s life.
Police are not yet sure how the man fell, but don’t suspect criminality at this time.
Authorities have not yet identified the man or his age.
