NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted, punched and robbed a woman in a Bronx elevator over the weekend.
The NYPD released images Monday of a suspect in Friday night’s attack.
He allegedly followed the 20-year-old onto an elevator at an apartment building near Mace and Bronxwood avenues in Allerton around 11:30 p.m.
Once inside, police said he “grabbed her intimate parts” and punched her in the face. He then allegedly stole her cellphone after a brief struggle.
The woman was not hospitalized, police said.
