NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 45-year-old Bronx man was arrested on Tuesday after he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital for a seizure when medical officials realized he was wanted for a year-old homicide case, according to police.

John Henderson was charged with assault for the May 2021 death of 47-year-old James Normoyle, authorities said.

Normoyle was found lying on a park bench in Inwood Park with head and body trauma on May 24, 2021.

He died two days later, and the medical examiner’s office ruled the death a homicide.

Henderson was brought into custody in relation to the death after he was released from the hospital.
