NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man wielding a wooden block hurled anti-Asian remarks and threatened to shoot and cut another shopper inside a Home Depot in Brooklyn last week, according to a report.
The 28-year-old Asian-American shopper was inside the Home Depot in Starrett City with his girlfriend around 7:40 p.m. on Friday when a man they didn’t know started making racist remarks, the Daily News reported, citing police sources.
“Why you with that little d--- Asian n-----?” the man asked the 28-year-old’s girlfriend, according to the outlet.
The man, who was holding a wooden block, then threatened to attack the 28-year-old, the outlet reported.
“I’ll cut you, you f------ Asian. Don’t call anyone,” he reportedly said. “I’m a blood. I’ll shoot you.”
The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the incident, according to the outlet.
