
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two men, including one wearing a "2Pac" sweatshirt -- a nod to late rapper Tupac Shakur -- spray-painted an anti-Black slur on the front of a Queens Chinese restaurant, police said Thursday.
According to police, the duo approached the Sunrise Chinese Restaurant at 33-20 Broadway in Astoria on Feb. 17 around 3:35 a.m. and graffitied the N-word on the restaurant's metal gate.
The individuals fled on foot in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating this incident.
