NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 27-year-old man was robbed of multiple gold chains, a Rolex watch and $700 in cash while he visited a Bronx Barbershop Thursday, police said.
An unidentified robber approached the man inside E.T. Barbershop, on 183rd Street in Belmont, around 7 p.m. and demanded his property as he flashed a firearm, according to police.
On top of the pricy watch and sizeable amount of cash, the victim handed over four gold chains, a ring, a gold bracelet and two cell phones, police said.
The NYPD on Saturday released surveillance footage of the suspect wanted in the robbery, who is seen wearing a black cap, white t-shirt and beige shorts.
