NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released a photo on Friday of a suspect wanted for a shooting a 16-year-old boy who was running down a Bronx street last month.

It happened at approximately 10:24 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, in front of 1214 Evergreen Ave. in Soundview, officials said.

The teen was struck in the right buttocks, and the gunman immediately fled in a vehicle toward East 172nd Street, according to police.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.

The suspect was last seen wearing a distinctive black shirt with a white floral pattern and matching black pants. He was also carrying a red and black Nike satchel bag.
