NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was gunned down in broad daylight in an attempted carjacking at an East Harlem gas station Wednesday morning, the NYPD said.
It happened at about 8:26 a.m. at a BP gas station located at East 129th Street and Park Avenue.
According to police, a 32-year-old man was sitting in a Maserati when he was approached by two suspects.
One of the suspects displayed a gun and shot the man multiple times including in his left leg, right arm and right shoulder, cops said.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
The motive for the shooting is unknown and an investigation is ongoing.
