NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released photos Monday of a man sought in connection with a knifepoint robbery at a Bronx subway station last week.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, at the Bronx Park East subway station mezzanine.
According to officials, the suspect approached a group of three victims—a 21-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man, and a 46-year-old woman—and engaged them in a verbal dispute.
The suspect then displayed a knife and snatched the 21-year-old woman's cell phone before fleeing on foot. Officers later recovered the phone near Birchall Avenue and Sagamore Street. No injuries were reported.
