VIDEO: Man inquires about job before stealing over $3K from Bronx auto shop

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is looking to identify a man wanted in connection to a burglary at a Bronx auto shop last month, officials said.

According to police, at approximately 1215 p.m. on Friday, September 17, the suspect entered Big Apple Auto Collision located at 807 Zerega Avenue in the Unionport neighborhood.

The suspect entered the location and inquired about employment and once inside, he removed $3,150, the NYPD said.

Authorities describe the suspect as a dark-skinned man, approximately 30-35 years old. He was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, black vest, gray sweatpants, and a black baseball hat.
