
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was wounded Wednesday in a broad-daylight stabbing steps from City Hall in Lower Manhattan, the NYPD said.
The 19-year-old victim was stabbed in the neck just after 11:30 a.m. outside the Manhattan Municipal Building at 1 Centre St., according to police.
He was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the assault weren’t immediately known, nor were any details about the stabber, who fled the scene.
Police said an investigation was ongoing.
