NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating a fatal double shooting that occurred late Monday night in Bushwick.
At approximately 10 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of shots fired in front 1233 Putnam Ave.
Upon arrival, officers observed 39-year-old Ramel Fisher with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and a 63-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the right eye.
EMS transported both victims to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center where Fisher was pronounced dead. The 63-year-old man is in stable condition.
There have been no arrests made at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
