NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man on a bike who’s been ripping necklaces off women in Queens in broad daylight.
The NYPD released images Tuesday of the suspect, who they say struck three times on three days last week in Jamaica and South Richmond Hill.
In each robbery, the suspect approached the victim, usually while riding a bike, and allegedly snatched the necklace from her neck.
He stole a $1,000 necklace from a 23-year-old woman on Monday, a $6,000 necklace from a 71-year-old woman on Thursday, and a $400 necklace from a 75-year-old woman on Friday, police said.
The two older victims suffered minor injuries but declined medical attention, according to cops.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
