NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police released a photo on Wednesday of a man who disrupted service at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Manhattan last month and pepper-sprayed a 70-year-old who attempted to intervene.
At 12:20 p.m. on Dec. 17, a man entered St. Peter's Church at 22 Barclay Street, near Church Street, and disrupted the service, police said.

A 70-year-old man went to stop the suspect, and was pepper-sprayed in the face by the intruder, officials said.
The suspect fled on foot, eastbound down Barclay Street.
Authorities said that the victim sustained minor injuries, but refused medical attention.
The wanted man was last seen wearing a blue jacket, khaki pants and a blue hat with white writing and a red brim.
