NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was pistol-whipped and mugged at a G-train station in Brooklyn during the evening rush this week, police said Friday as they released images of two suspects.
The 35-year-old victim was waiting on the Queens-bound platform of the Clinton-Washington Avenues station in Clinton Hill around 5 p.m. Tuesday when he was attacked.
According to cops, the two suspects brandished a firearm and struck him over the head multiple times with it while stealing his cellphone.
They fled with the wallet and were last seen headed eastbound on Fulton Street, police said.
The victim suffered bruising to his face and was transported by EMS to Mount Sinai Brooklyn in stable condition.
