Man pressed groin against woman's buttocks on Harlem subway train: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a man wanted in connection to a sexual assault incident that occurred last month aboard a subway train in Harlem.

The incident happened at approximately 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, after a 39-year-old woman boarded a southbound 4 train at the 125th Street and Lexington Avenue subway station, officials said.


While aboard the train, the unidentified man stood behind the victim and pressed his groin against her buttocks, authorities said.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, approximately in his mid-40's, 5'6" tall, 180lbswith black hair and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, grey shirt, black pants, black boots, and a blue face mask under his chin.

Police on Friday released surveillance footage of the suspect prior to incident.
