NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police on Thursday released video footage of a suspect accused of punching a man in the face during a carjacking in Brooklyn last month.
At approximately 4:07 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, a 60-year-old man was in the vicinity of 59 Bogart St., in East Williamsburg when he was approached by the suspect who then punched him in the face and robbed him of his car keys, authorities said.
The suspect fled in the victim's vehicle in an unknown direction, officials said.
The victim was treated on scene for minor injuries.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and tan work boots. He was also seen wearing a black cap with white lettering.
