
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man suspected in an anti-Asian attack earlier this month in Brooklyn.
It happened just after 5 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 2, in the vicinity of Ocean and Foster avenues in Flatbush.
The suspect punched a 33-year-old man in the head and arm after making anti-Asian remarks, officials said.
The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention.
The suspect fled the location on foot, heading southbound on Ocean Avenue to parts unknown.
The suspect is described as having a tattoo on his right calf. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, tan shorts, blue shoes, and a green book bag.
