NEW YORK (1010 WINS/ WCBS 880 NEWS) – An unidentified man pummeled a 73-year-old man following an argument on Wednesday in Queens, police said.

The unidentified man got into an argument with the victim at around 6 a.m. in front of 253-51 Rockaway Blvd. in Rosedale, according to officials.


The suspect then started to punch the victim in the face and body repeatedly, cops said.

The victim had minor injuries and was treated on the scene by EMS.

The suspect drove away southbound on Rockaway Boulevard in a gray Acura TLX with a Texas license plate.

Police have launched an investigation and are actively searching for a suspect, described as a six-foot-tall man with a beard and tattoos on both arms.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with white lettering, black sweatpants, and black sandals.
