NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 44-year-old man punched a 72-year-old woman seemingly at random on the Lower East Side on Wednesday, according to police.
Raoul Hyacianthe allegedly walked up to the woman and slugged her without saying a word near Delancey and Allen streets around 1 p.m.
Emergency responders rushed the woman to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. She is reportedly in stable condition.
Hyacinthe faces assault charges for the attack.
