NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police released a photo of a man accused of punching a 70-year-old fruit stand worker on the Lower East Side earlier this week.
Just before 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, the suspect attempted to remove fruit from a stand in front of 281 Grand St., officials said.
When confronted by the employee, the suspect punched the employee in the face.
The suspect was last seen fleeing westbound on Grand Street on foot without any property.
EMS treated the victim on scene for minor injuries.
