NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance footage of a man sought for allegedly pushing a woman to the ground in a purse robbery that occurred early Monday in the Bronx.
It happened at approximately 4:48 a.m., in front of 21 West 183rd St. in University Heights, authorities said.
According to officials, the suspect approached a 69-year-old woman then pushed her to the ground and took her purse from her.
The robber then fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on Davidson Avenue.
The victim suffered injuries to her lips and face but was not hospitalized.
The suspect was last seen wearing all black.
