Man randomly punched into Brooklyn train, suffers brain bleed

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a suspect in a Rick and Morty jacket who punched a man into a Brooklyn subway train, causing him to suffer a brain bleed on Tuesday night, authorities said.

At approximately 11:10 p.m., a 29-year-old man was on a southbound Q train platform at the Church Avenue station in Prospect Park South when he was approached by the suspect who began to punch him multiple times in the face.

The victim fell and hit his head against a Q train that was leaving the station.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition where he is being treated for bleeding in the brain.

The suspect fled on foot, exiting the subway station in an unknown direction.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black ski mask, a blue Rick and Morty jacket, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
