
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly raped and robbed a woman in the Bronx over the weekend.
The NYPD released images Monday of the suspect, who they say attacked a woman around 5 a.m. Sunday in the Norwood section.
The 36-year-old woman was around East Gun Hill Road and Putnam Place when the man grabbed her by the neck, according to police.
He then sexually assaulted her and stole her property, including an unknown amount of cash, police said.
The woman was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx, where she was listed in stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene and was last seen headed eastbound on foot down Gun Hill Road, police said.
