NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating the shooting death of a man found inside a Brooklyn housing complex Sunday night in Downtown Brooklyn, authorities said.
At approximately 10 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot inside of the Farragut Houses located at 234 Sands St., officials said.
Upon arrival, officers observed 35-year-old Richard Reed with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest inside of the lobby at the location.
EMS transported Reed to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There have been no arrests made and an investigation remains ongoing.
