NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released a photo on Tuesday of a man accused of stabbing a bus passenger multiple times in the Bronx last week.

At about 9:35 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2, a 23-year-old man was exiting a Bx9 bus at a stop opposite 321 East Fordham Rd. when an unknown individual the suspect approached him from behind, officials said.

According to police, the suspect then stabbed the victim multiple times in the back and left arm with a sharp object before fleeing on foot.

EMS transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The attacker was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black backpack.
