NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for the suspect accused of repeatedly stabbing a man at a store in Brooklyn early Friday morning.

It happened just before 5:15 a.m. a Mini Mart on Church Avenue in Flatbush, authorities said.

The stabbing happened as a result of a dispute between a worker and a customer, officials said.

According to police, the worker confronted the suspect, possibly about stealing from the store and when the argument escalated, another customer attempted to intervene.

The 30-year-old customer was then stabbed multiple times in the face, chest and left arm, cops said.

He was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

The suspect, described by police as a man with a dark complexion wearing a black jacket, black pants and black Crocs, fled in a silver sedan.
