The 24-year-old victim was walking near West End Avenue and West 107th Street at about 10:35 p.m. on Sunday when a stranger approached.

Authorities said that the suspect—described as a 5 foot 8 inches tall man with a slim build and light complexion—fled west toward Riverside Park.

The suspect was last seen clad in all black and carrying a black baseball bat, police said.
