The unidentified suspect tried to flee, but he didn’t make it far, running right into responding officers as he tried to exit the parking garage.

Charges against him are pending. Police said a gun was recovered at the scene.

Police described the robbery as random and don’t believe the victim and suspect knew each other.

Detectives were still at the parking garage Friday morning as the investigation continued.
