NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating after a 21-year-old man was slashed on a Midtown subway platform Wednesday night, according to authorities.
The incident happened at around 9:50 PM when the victim got into a dispute with the suspect, a man in his 50s while on an A train heading downtown from 42nd Street, officials said.

As the train was pulling into the 34th Street station, the suspect pulled out a knife and slashed the victim in the forehead, according to the NYPD.
The attacker got off the train and fled southbound on the tracks, the NYPD said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
An investigation remains ongoing.
