NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are on the hunt for an assailant after a man was slashed repeatedly at a Brooklyn subway station on Monday afternoon.
It happened minutes after 1 p.m. at the 53rd Street subway station near 4th Avenue in Sunset Park.
The 33-year-old victim was slashed in the face, neck and chest, police said.
He was taken to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in stable condition, officials said.
The circumstances the led to the slashing were not immediately clear. There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
